Origin	From a noble bloodline with a duty to catalog and study the ancient runes to bolster and secure the family holdings.
Heroic Deed	Managed to protect a wealthy merchant's isokeel during a Runeburst that destroyed his home. Returned the isokeel intact, choosing not to open it and claim half of the contract value so the merchant could retain his holdings justly.

Quirk	Always carries a pouch of dust to sprinkle on surfaces to "read" the flow of forgotten magic.
Flaw	Cannot abide broken symmetry—will pause a mission to realign stones or fix a collapsed pillar.
