Welcome team

The Verdant Accord has gathered you here in Cragwatch to prepare yourselves while our engineers finish refurbishing a newly excavated Forgecore.

Mission Profile

The Accord is dispatching you to escort the Class IV convoy carrying the Forgecore out of Cragwatch, through a western spur of Stoneheart, and north towards the city of Briarhold.

Hazards and Challenges

The Forgecore is large and the convoy will be slow. It will be a prime target for bandits, scavengers, and who knows what else. We need skilled people to guard it and scout the canyon paths. We entrust you with it's safety and it's installation at CN-07: Greyreach Spindle.

Get to know each other

Jorra Tarnthane

Brash and ready to stand between friend and foe. Stone scars hold power to both harm and protect.

Perrin Glore

Cunning and quick to find an opening. A sharp blade adds leverage to negotiations.

Ruvan Skaarn

Clever and always ready to assist. Skilled at environmental engineering to create an opening.

To Navigate Stoneheart

You have all been outfitted by the Accord with what we have available. Check with your quartermaster if you need supplies.

Keep and even keel

Keels are the coins that keep us moving forward. Always check your money, swindlers can easily "shortstack" you!

Formal contracts are written and sealed within a special block called an isokeel. If you find an isokeel, have it appraised and there may be a reward!

Tack against the wind

Do favors for people to earn Tack, spend Tack to request favors. Tack and Keels are not exchangeable.

Aid one another

This is a core tenant of our charter.

You will pass by countless encampments, trading posts, and travelers while you escort the Forgecore. You will be attracting a lot of attention and will need as many friends as you can get.

Leave a verdant wake.

Savage Worlds

I'll tell you which dice to roll with what modifiers, when I ask for skill checks and resolving events.

Rolling Dice

Assume your roll needs to meet or beat a Target Number of 4. For every 4 you roll over the Target Number, you get a Raise which will add effects.

Dice can explode! If your die rolls an Ace (highest roll), reroll the die and add the new roll to the previous one.

You are the heroes

You can spend Tack to do some helpful things. Spend it freely, as you earn it. Tack is best when it flows.

Most often, you will use Tack to reroll a roll you don't like.

Everything else will come with time!
